MEMORIAL ARCHIVES & HISTORY TEAM

Memorial Presbyterian Church will pray fully dedicate an Archive and History Room in the future. The room is be located in the Fellowship hall.

It is important for us as a people to learn and understand  our rich history. Psalms 78:2-3, states “ For I will show you lessons from our history, stories handed down to us from former generations.”   The archive will contain  digital and print material. Whenever possible, the collection will contain  original programs, obituaries, pictures, and books. Also included will be taped conversation with  senior church members of all ages, and community leaders. All members can be an active participant by sharing important documents.

Comfortable seating and equipment will be available for an enjoyable experience. Computers and copiers will be offered to preserve the originals. Limited hours will be convenient to serve the church and the community.  We have already begun our treasure hunt.
